Naturalist and Conservationist Forrest is Our Planet's Top Advocate!
Forrest Galante is known for his experience with nature conservation, outdoor survival and wildlife expertise. Growing up in Harare, Zimbabwe, Forrest harvested a life-long love of nature that set him on his path in life. After political unrest forced his family to move back to California, Forrest's love with nature continued.
Forrest Galante has caught crocodiles, swam with great white sharks, photographed venomous reptiles, outsmarted a charging water buffalo, dodged an angry panther and had countless other adventures. He started out his career in high-risk wildlife biology fieldwork, always focusing on animals on the brink of extinction. His approach with wildlife, passion for nature and extraordinary background has led to the development of his own Animal Planet television show, 'Extinct or Alive.' The show shadows Forrest on expedition as he searchers the globe looking for species believed to be extinct.
